Vital Stats:
Project began: September 2004
Project completed: 3/4/05
Total cost:  $17 ($14 for fabric, $3 for muslin, I already had the rest)
# broken needles:  4 from when I originally gathered the petticoat
# total hours spent:  not sure . . . probably at least 25
# needle wounds: none - write it in the history books!
Materials:  mystery fabric, muslin, linen, reeds for the stays, white cotton fabric for petticoat,
blue linen for cartridge pleating, leftover ribbon from a Christmas present, lace from a tablecloth
turned curtain, binding tape, linen for shift and drawers

Project Rundown:
Quite fun to do, although it probably still needs some pocket hoops, but those will have to wait
for another time.  It ended up being a bit short waisted somehow, even with numerous fittings
and seam allowances.  Guess that will have to be added to the good 'ol learning experience file.

Project Mission:
To somewhat accurately recreate this travelling petticoat dated 1745-1760

Project Description:
Traveling ensemble including 'coat' with ruffled sleeves, bow detail on bodice closure, and
pleated coat skirt; cartridge pleated skirt; lace 'scarf' for neckline; pleated petticoat; shift; and
drawers
